Refund policy
Since everyone’s feet are different and we cannot guarantee the comfort of our products, please make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase before wearing the item.
Van Dyke & Bacon Shoes has a 45-day return policy from the date of purchase for online orders. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, be in new and resalable condition, unworn or unused, with all original tags, and in its original box/packaging.
Returned shoes must be in its original shoebox and shipped back within a separate shipping box. Boxed footwear that is returned with labels, writing, or tape attached directly to the original shoe box will be charged a $20 re-boxing fee.
We offer three (4) ways to accept your return:
1. Drop off your item at any Van Dyke & Bacon store with a receipt.
2. Contact us at vandykeandbacon@gmail.com. Please state that you have an online order and are interested in returning your item. Please provide your receipt number. We will review your request and send you a prepaid return shipping label that will be deducted from your refund amount, as well as instructions on how and where to send your return. The flat rate return shipping fee is $12.00.
3. Contact us by phone at 410-433-1100. Please state that you have an online order and are interested in returning your item. Please have your receipt available. We will review your request and send you a prepaid return shipping label that will be deducted from your refund amount, as well as instructions on how and where to send your return. The flat rate return shipping fee is $12.00.
4. Use our automated Return Portal Link to quickly and conveniently process your return online. The portal allows customers to submit return requests, receive instant return authorization, generate prepaid return shipping labels, and track the status of their return through the automated returns process.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Products that are determined by Van Dyke & Bacon to be worn or used are not returnable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
